Country Vibes Playlist

Hey Whisperers,

If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know that I'm a sucker for country music ( and pretty much all music genres) and so today i thought that i would share a few of my favourite country artists and songs with you from my Country Vibes Playlist!

Listen While You Read

#1- Randy Houser

I don't know what it is about Randy's voice (talking about him like he's my best mate) but it just makes me smile. It is so amazing. I don't know what it is with me but the minute i have the house to myself, I have Randy's songs blasting and I'm singing at the top of my lungs they're just so catchy and fun that you can't help but sing along my top 3 being; We Went, Like A Cowboy, How Country Feels and Runnin' Outta Moonlight.

#2- Cam

Cam, Cam,Cam,Cam, I don't even know where to start. Cam's music is some of the most incredible, and beautiful music I've ever listened too. Her music has such a emotional yet fun vibe to it that it's pretty hard not to fall in love with. I first heard her song Burning House when it was covered by my YouTube favourites Cimorelli and I've been obsessed ever since. Burning House and My Mistake are my all time favourites of hers and although they're both polar opposites i love them both so much.

#3- Lucy Hale

If you haven't heard of Lucy Hale i don't know where you've been for the past 7 years. Most of you probably know Lucy from the amazing show (and my personal all time favourite show) Pretty Little Liars, but she is also an incredible talented singer. I heard Lucy's album Road Between in 2015 and I've been obsessed since. The album has some INCREDIBLE songs on and it just made me even more obsessed with her and the show. Some of my favourites are Red Dress, From The Backseat, Road Between and of course Lie A Little Better.

#4- Dolly Parton

I mean come on can you really love country music and not love Dolly?! She's a country icon and rightly so. Her voice is incredible and she herself is even more amazing. I've pretty much always listened to Dolly's music as lets be honest it's some of the most well known music in the world. Obviously my favourites are probably those that many of you know. 9 to 5, Jolene and of course I Will Always Love You.

Other Songs I Love-

The Healing - Tim Chaisson
As It Seems - Lilly Kershaw
Need You Now - Lady Antebellum

There's just something so special and real about country music and i don't know what it is but it just makes me so calm and happy. I know that it isn't for everyone and i totally understand that but i hope you've enjoyed this post. If you have any song suggestions don't forget to leave them in the comments down below!!

Blogging On A Budget - Props

Hey Whisperers,

When i started blogging I never really knew anything about the photography that comes with it, which ended up with my pictures looking pretty basic. Over the past year I've found a few props that have helped me so much when it comes to my photo's and so today i thought I'd share them with you! Lets get into it.

Blogging Props

These fake plants from Primark were some of the last props that i brought. They're usually blurred in the background of my pictures so you can't normally see them too much but they add so much to any picture that you take just by adding that little extra colour and dimension. The larger silver plant was £3 and the smaller gold one was £2, i did get these quite a while ago but while shopping the other day i did check and they do have similar things to these in stock.

These small glass diamonds are probably one of my favourite props, they just add a little extra to any picture I take and lets be honest they're super cute. You can either use these to fill up space in a picture or to help prop up smaller products without making it look messy. They are quite small so be careful if you do get them a I've dropped and stood on a few and believe me it's as bad as stepping on a Lego brick. These were super cheap at only £1.99 for a large tube in The Range. Buy them here

These glass stones are also great for filling up space in pictures. I don't tend to reach for them as much as the smaller diamonds as they do take up more room and look quite bulky but they do help a lot when it comes to stabilizing and propping up products and i mean for £1 from The Range i couldn't not pick them up. Buy them here.

Last but by no means least my favourite 'prop' of all my marble background. For a while i used a plain white background, which although i loved, wasn't always the best for pictures so when i was told about this Marble Contact paper i was so excited. For £4 online or £5 i store you get 2 meters of this paper which doesn't seem much but you don't really need much for taking pictures. It adds so much to a picture and honestly, it's just nice having something that isn't plain white. Buy it here

Just to show how much props can help pictures i thought I'd a few before and after pictures here:

Obviously, it isn't only props that make your photo's better, it does take a lot of work but they definitely help. I take all my photo's on my IPhone using the HDR setting which allows me to adjust the brightness which helps a lot, so you don't need to rush out and buy an expensive camera. But if you're struggling with photography don't give up because eventually you'll start finding tips and tricks that help.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me in the comments below!

June Wishlist 2017

Hey Whisperers,

So this month I'm on a pretty tight budget after going on a girls shopping trip, where I obviously , spent more money than i should have. So today I'm coming at you with my June wishlist, I've done a lot of window shopping this month so I'm excited to get into the post, so lets jump right in.

June Wishlist 2017

Living in the UK, Kat Von D makeup was something i always wanted to try but never could as it was only stocked in America, however recently Kat Von D has brought her incredible makeup line to the UK in Debenhams stores so when i was in store the other day i had to swatch this and i of course fell in love. However it does have a larger price tag of £27 which for me is quite a lot so for now I'm just going to add it to my wishlist.

This body mist is one of the most amazing smelling things I have ever smelt, I do already own one bottle of this but i know that I'm going to use it up quickly so i definitely need to get another one. Victoria's Secret is also having it's semi-annual sale at the moment too making it only £5 which i mean come on for a spray of this size and smell is incredible!

Now I'm not normally one to wear playsuits but when i saw this on Boohoo i fell in love. You do have to order it online of course so i am a little skeptical about ordering it as I've never even tried one on before but i may order it and if it doesn't look right send it back because I'm obsessed with it.

I saw this mug online a few months ago and I've pretty much been searching for it every time i go to a primark (which is a lot) and i still haven't found it. They do have one in the Disney store but it's twice the price and this one is just cuter so hopefully i can find it this month. This is why Primark need to make an online store it would make things so much simpler.

During summer  i pretty much stick to 'natural' eye makeup and this one looks absolutely perfect! I have two Morphe shadows but i haven't really used them much as they're both quite dark. I've seen this palette used by people like Nikkitutorials and MannyMUA so I do have quite high hopes for it. It isn't too expensive as it is only £13 for 12 shadows but it isn't super cheap either.

I'm obsessed with everything on my list this month so hopefully i'll be able to get atleast a few of them!

Beauty Bit's I'm Loving!

Hey Whisperers,

While trying new products is fun, there's always going to be those products that you always go back to. Over the past few weeks I've found my Beauty posts quite difficult to write as I've pretty much been sticking with the same products so 'First Impression' and 'Product Reviews' have been pretty tricky to write. Now seeing as i have been sticking with the same products, and of course loving them, i thought it rude not to share with you guys and so today that's what I'm here to do, so these are my Beauty Bit's I'm Loving.

Beauty Bit's I'm Loving

If you haven't heard of, or seen this palette you've seriously been missing out. Obviously highlighting is a very popular thing in makeup at the minute and finding a good highlighting palette with good shades and pigmentation is something that no cheek blinding queen is going to turn down. I did do a review on this product when i first got it to so you can head over to that post here to see the swatches but honestly, i promise you, when you try this it will become one of your favourites very quickly! Hint: The lavender shade on the inner corner takes any eye look from basic to out of this world.

Sophie here bringing another cult favourite forward, i never used to understand the need for an eye-shadow primer. I used to just grab my palette, wack some shadow on my eyes and go on with my day. Then I'd get to the end of the day with my eyes looking like I'd got some kind of freak disease and I'd be left complaining so i gave this product a go and I've used it everyday since. This shade is the perfect shade if you have 'pigmented' lids like me as it cancels out pretty much all colours and it looks amazing. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for an affordable primer, this one has lasted me since November so they definitely last a long time too.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that this is my go to palette by now, and if not...well now you do. This palette literally scream summer, it's so bright, warm and perfect. As you can tell I'm pretty much obsessed with the Alchemy as it's hit pan... is hitting pan on one shadow a good enough reason to get another one?. The shimmer/metallic shades in this palette are like no other that I have tried and honestly, I've been using this everyday for the past 5 months. So if you've been looking at Zoeva palettes and you've been holding back on trying them don't, they're incredible. Full review with swatches here.

NYX was a brand that i wanted to try for so long and honestly when it arrived in the UK i wasn't as impressed as I thought I was going to be. This lipstick however, is pretty much my favourite in my whole collection. I'm pretty sure that everyone and their momma has tried some kind of NYX lip product but for me nothing beats this one. I, like pretty much every other makeup lover, love matte lips so when i got this i was so excited and i fell in love. It's so hard to find a matte lipstick that doesn't make you feel like your lips are slowly drying up and falling off your face. Of course the colour of this lipstick was also bonus as it's pretty much the perfect mix between brown and nude which makes it bold enough to add to any makeup look but not too bold that it's in your face which i love.

£3.90 for a primer? Is anyone really going to turn down trying that? I was a little weary when i ordered this primer but honestly it's incredible, so good that I've used up not only one but two tubes of it and I'm scraping at the tubes before i order more. A little of this product goes a long way and it's definitely comparable to the more expensive brands that I've tried. It leaves your skin feeling so smooth and hydrated which is something i love.

Blogging about makeup has made blogging hard for me the past few weeks as i have pretty much been doing to same thing each day but i hope you've enjoyed this post on the beauty bits I've been loving!

Birchbox Unboxing - June 2017

Hey Whisperers,

It's that time again, Birchbox time. This month I got to choose what colour bag i got and I am so glad i chose the mint colour because I'm completely obsessed with it! The past month has flown by but I'm super excited to open this months 'bag' so lets get into it!

What is Birchbox?

If you're new to Birchbox, Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that you receive each month with 5 products to try out. The products can range from sample size to full size and they also range in price. All products in the box can be found on the Birchbox website where the box is purchased for £12.95 each month. Some months you will receive an email where you can either choose a product or a box/bag design which i love as it lets you make the bag/products a little more of your style!

What I Got This Month?

RRP £8

Now don't get me wrong I love a good hand cream, but the Cowshed brand seems to be one that I'm getting quite regularly in my boxes and honestly it isn't my favourite brand. I did give this hand cream a try and although it feels amazing on the skin, the scent is definitely not my favourite. On the back of the tube it's described as having Grapefruit tones and Bitter Orange tones which to me, are not my favourite smells. I probably won't be using this at all which sucks as it is such a good sample size.

RRP £20

First up the price for the full size version of this product is insane. I love my hair but i don't think any dry shampoo is worth paying that much money for. I do love the size of this product though it's perfect for travelling and it smells amazing, it's the perfect smell for summer. The packaging of this product is also super cute. My only problem with Dry Shampoo is that i pretty much always use too much so hopefully i can limit how much i use this

RRP £11.95

I was so excited to see this scrub in my bag! I've seen scrubs like this a few times in shops like Boots and TKMaxx but I've just never tried them so I'm excited to try this one. I do think that i was sent the wrong one as in the little product leaflet you get in your box, it says coffee scrub, however I'm happier that they sent me this one as it smells incredible! The packaging is super cute and you get a pretty generous sample of 50g and looking at the product i think you can get at least 2/3 uses out of it which amazing. It's definitely my favourite product in this months bag.

RRP £12

I've been looking for a light eyeliner for my waterline for so long so when i saw this in my bag i was super excited. It's super creamy and easy to apply which is a must for me because my eyes are super sensitive when it comes to the waterline. I also love the colour, instead of it being super white it's more of a baby pink colour which is super cute. It does say that it's waterproof which I've tested on my hand and it definitely is so I'm looking forward to trying it out on my eyes. The full size of this product is £12 which for me is a little pricey but it is a double ended product when it's full-sized with the other end being a waterproof black liner so it isn't too badly priced.

Meech And Mia Brow Liner in #021
Full size RRP £12.99

I saw an advert on Facebook showing that this was going to be in the bag and to be honest i wasn't too excited. I think when it comes to brow products they can be very hit and miss as obviously everybody's brow shades are different. Personally i would have preferred  for the eyeliner to have been full size. I have swatched this and it is quite pigmented which is good but i do think it's going to be a little too light for my brows, I'm definitely going to give it a try though!

Total RRP For This Month's Box

Honestly, I'm quite disappointed  with this months box. Scrolling through the website of things being sampled this month there are some incredible products such as Estee Lauder Cleansing Jelly, Bobbi Brown Eye Cream, Origins Serum which all look amazing compared to what i have received. I am excited to try the body scrub and dry shampoo but hopefully next months box will be better. In this months box we did also receive 15% off Trouva which i'm going to look into, alongside a preview of a product for next months box which will be a mini Benefit product which although an amazing sample is also something that we have received in a box not too long ago.

Are you subscribed to Birchbox?
If so did you get anything different in your box this month?
Let me know in the comments down below!

If you want to try out Birchbox you can use my link here to get £5 off your first box making it just £7.95!

May Favourites

Hey Whisperers,

So I'm trying to keep these Monthly Favourite posts going so I'm here again today to do another favourites post. I only really have one major favourite this month so I've added in a few products I've been liking too. I don't know how this months post ended up all pink but i love it anyway so lets get into it.

May Favourites

I've never really been a pink eye-shadow kind of gal, but for some reason over the past few weeks I've fallen in love with this palette. I haven't used many of the darker shades in this palette because I've been trying to keep away from dark eye-shadow looks, but the lighter shades are incredible. 8/12 of the eye-shadows are shimmer which i love as they're super pigmented and they look amazing on the eye. For £4 it's an amazing palette and I definitely recommend it.

Bed Head Cyberoptics Eyeshadow in Gold

I brought this shadow a few years ago from TKMaxx and I never really used it much, then a few weeks ago i wanted a golden shade for my cut crease and i fell in love. This shadow is so pigmented and shimmery its amazing, I do however think using it wet is better as it becomes so much more pigmented and easy to work with. I'm not too sure if they still make these shadows any more as i can't find a link for this one anywhere online.

I'm the kind of girl that pretty much hoards lip balms, I don't know why but I buy them all the time so when i saw this one in Primark  i had to have it. This lip balm pretty much smells like Calpol and although some people might hate that i love it! Now i have linked the Superdrug website for this product as I couldn't find a link on Primark's website however, I do definitely recommend buying it from Primark as it only costs £2 there instead of the normal £4.99 from Superdrug.

Now this perfume has been my main favourite this month. I went shopping a few weeks ago and as always i sprayed all the Primark sprays and i fell in love with this one. It smells just like summer to me. It's a nice fruity smell but at the same time it isn't too sweet which i love. The packaging of this product is also super cute (it reminds me of a watermelon even though its called Papaya) and for only £2 it's well worth picking up.

I'd seen these Razors all over Instagram and I wanted to try them straight away, because lets be honest theirs nothing more irritating than plucking your eyebrows. It takes ages and then you either over pluck or end up with hairs that you missed and its just too much effort. I ordered these razors (a pack of 3) from for £1 which was amazing and they've made doing my eyebrows 10x faster and easier and i love them.

Hopefully next month I'll have some better favourites to show you guys!

What are your favourites this month?
