4 Easy Go To Halloween Looks

Hey Whisperers,

Over the past few weeks I've seen so many Halloween makeup looks all over social media and I am so in love with so many of them, however i don't have the most amazing makeup skills so half of those looks are pretty much impossible for me to create. So today i thought i would show you 4 easy, go to makeup looks that you can create at home with products you probably already have!  So lets get into the post because it's going to be a long one!

My 4 Easy Go To Halloween Looks

Look 1 - Cat

I am pretty sure this is one of the most popular Halloween looks out there but i thought I'd throw it in here anyways!

To achieve this look you will need-

Foundation
Concealer
Powder
Bronzer
Eyebrow Pencil/Pomade
Black Eyeliner
Black Eyeshadow
Red Lipstick
Red Lip liner
Mascara

Get the look-

Start off with applying your base
Apply your foundation, concealer as you usually would and set your face with powder. After your face is set apply a little bronzer to the perimeter of your face to bring some warmth back into it.

Time to create the cat's nose
With your black eyeliner create a triangle extending down towards your nostrils. Then round out the top and sides of the triangle to make it look more like a cats nose.

Feline Flick
Blend some of your bronzer into your crease using a blending brush. Once blended create a thin line of eyeliner and extend it out into a long thin wing to create a dramatic feline flick. Apply mascara to create some dramatic lashes.

Whisker Time
Take a black eyeshadow and lightly sketch out where you want your whiskers to go. Once you're happy with the placement, length and thickness go over them with your black eyeliner and set with your black eyeshadow so they stay in place all day/night.

Time for that signature pout
Take your red lipstick and fill in your lips,i would suggest using a lip liner, i didn't because i was taking it off as soon as i had finished but for a long lasting look, i would use a lip liner. After you're finished applying your lip liner you're ready to go.

Look 2- Vampire

Before we start this look can we just note now uneven my eyebrows were, i don't know how i didn't notice this until now but they're a serious mess. But you know what they say, eyebrows are sisters not twins right?

To achieve this look you will need-

Foundation
Concealer
Powder
Black Eyeshadow
Burgundy Eyeshadow
Black Liquid Eyeliner
Black Kohl Pencil
Red Liquid Lipstick
Plum Lipstick
Mascara

Get the look

Start off with applying your base
Apply your foundation, concealer and eyebrows as you usually would and set your face with powder. After your face is set it's time to fill in those brows, i filled mine in with a black eyeliner to make them extra bold but you can always stick with your natural brow colour and fill them in with a brow pencil.

Lost in those eyes
To create the dark eyes, apply your burgundy eyeshadow in your crease, blending up towards the brow bone. Once your burgundy shadow is completely blended use your black eyeshadow to cover your entire eyelid and blend upwards with a mixture of both the black and burgundy shadows. Then take your eyeliner and create a sharp wing on the upper lash line and fill in your waterline and tight line with a black Kohl liner. To finish off the eyes take the black eyeshadow on an angled brush and apply it on your lower lash line blending it out with some burgundy shadow. Apply mascara to finish off the eyes (fake lashes would look amazing with this look too)

That Bloody Mouth
Take your plum lipstick and use it all over the lips. Once finished clean up around the edges with concealer and an angled brush. One you have the lips cleaned up apply a small amount of red liquid lipstick below the outer thirds of the bottom lip and use either a brush or your finger to smudge downwards to create that dried blood look, and you're done.

Look 3 - Scarecrow

I don't know what it is about this look but i just think it's super cute for Halloween, you can pair it with a flannel shirt and jeans. Put your hair in pigtails or tease it all over and you're ready for any Halloween party!

To achieve this look you will need-

Foundation
Concealer
Powder
Bronzer
Pink Blush
Eyebrow Pencil
Black Eyeshadow
Pink Eyeshadow
Black Liquid Eyeliner
Black Kohl Pencil
Mascara
Nude Lip gloss

Start off with applying your base
Apply your foundation and concealer as you usually would and set your face with powder. After your face is set apply bronzer to the perimeter of your face to warm it up. Then use your regular eyeshadow pencil and fill in your brows making them a little darker and thicker than usual. Use your pink blush to create pink circles on the apples of your cheeks, blend them out only slightly was we want to keep it pretty bold.

Piercing eyes
Take your bronzer and warm up the crease of your eye. Once your bronzer is fully blended apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner to your lash line to create some definition and apply mascara. Then take some black eyeshadow and create pointed lines going down towards your cheeks to create the tightened under eye look, once your done with the eyeshadow go over top with eyeliner to make the lines more defined (for a softer look skip this step).

Cute as a button
To create the cute cut out nose map out the shape you would like with your brow pencil. Once you're happy with the shape fill in with pink eyeshadow and then go over the top with some bronzer to tone down the pink. Once you've created your desired colour outline the shape with black eyeliner and add lines to make it look like a stitched on patch.

Smile
To create the stitched mouth use your liquid eyeliner to draw lines extending from each side of your mouth up onto the cheeks. Then, draw lines going downwards along the line to create a stitched look. Take your eyebrow pencil and create a c around the end of each stitch to make it look like its going into your skin.

Glossy
Once your stitches are done take your lip gloss and apply it to your lips, and then you're done!

Look 4- Silent Treatment

I saw this look on a blog the other day and i knew that i had to re-create it for this post because it's so simple yet so cool and amazing. For the original post click here because her look was incredible and turned out so cool.

To achieve this look you will need-

Foundation
Concealer
Powder
Eyebrow Pencil
Black Eyeshadow
Black Liquid Eyeliner
Black Kohl Pencil
Mascara

Get the look

Apply your base
Apply your foundation and concealer s as you usually would and set your face with powder. Fill in your eyebrows with your eyebrow pencil making them a little thicker and darker than normal.

Eyes to the soul
Heavily apply your black eyeshadow to your eyelid and lower lash line, blending it towards the brow bone and down to the cheeks. This doesn't have to be neat but if you're having trouble blending it, use your face powder to help soften the edges. Apply your kohl pencil to your tight line and waterline and apply mascara.

Silent Treatment
Apply concealer over your lips and set with powder. Once set, use your black eyeshadow to map out where you want your stitches to go and fill in the inner lip with the shadow too. Once you're happy with the placement go over with black liquid liner and use your eyebrow pencil to create c shapes around the ends of the stitches to make it look like they're going into your skin. And you're done!

So those were my easy go to Halloween looks! Something i love most about these looks is that you can change them and add to them as much as you want to make them suit you better which is always a plus. At this time of year it's hard to find a look to create, without having to go out and buy a bunch of new products so hope I this post has helped you either pick a look or gave you some inspiration to create a look with products you already have in your collection!!

Let me know down below which look was your favourite and also what you're being for Halloween this year!!

Thanks for Reading
Happy Halloween
Love,
Soph

Discalimer- I am not in anyway claiming to be a makeup artist or that i am even good at makeup i am just creating these looks in response to a poll i posted on twitter where people voted for me to do some halloween looks. I know they aren't the best but i did my best with what i had and the time that i had to create them in. Thank you.
