£20 Makeup Challenge; Collab with Georgia'sBeautyBox

Hey Whisperers,

A few months ago i collaborated on a post with Georgia from Georgia's Beauty Box (visit here incredible blog here) and now that I'm back from my break we decided that it would be a good idea to do another collaboration. Today we are going to be doing the £20 makeup challenge! This challenge was popular on YouTube a few years ago but I've been wanting to do a blog post on it for awhile and there's no better time than the present! I thought this post would be perfect for those of you who are either on a budget or just starting out in makeup! So let's get into it!

£20 Makeup Challenge

First up is foundation, the foundation I picked up was the Miss Sporty So Matte Perfect Stay Foundation. For £3.49 i don't think  I can really complain about this foundation. The shade is a bit off but once I've blended down my neck it is fine and because it dries matte it lasts well throughout the day. Now, the only problem with this foundation is that it is quite thick so blending it does take awhile to blend out, however for £3.49 it's a good foundation if you're on a budget.

I'm pretty sure that everyone and their mother has used this powder. The Rimmel Stay Matte powder is pretty much a staple in most drugstore makeup looks. It has amazing lasting power, it is a great price and it lasts for ages. If you aren't a fan of the stay matte powder the L'oreal Infaliable Foundation Powder is also a great option for an extra pound.

This next product is the most expensive of all of these products. This is the Makeup Revolution Euphoria Palette in Bronzed Euphoria. Now although this palette is the most expensive in this post it does have the most uses so i think it is well worth it. This palette contains 6 shimmer eye shadows, a matte bronzer, a highlighter and a beautiful blush (which is pretty much a slightly darker dupe for Nars Orgasm Blush). Now the only downside of this palette is the fact that all of the eye shadows are shimmer so i tend to use the bronzer as an eyeshadow too and i mean come on for £6 you pretty much have half your makeup in one palette.

Up next is the MUA Wet Look Eyeliner, now this eyeliner isn't one of my favourites. As most of you guys know winged liner is pretty much an everyday thing for me so i have tried out way too many eyeliners, and this one by MUA is definitely not one of my favourites.  I found that it takes quite awhile too dry and i don't really like the 'wet look' of it, they do, do a Matte version too (purchase that here) which is the same price which i think i would like a lot more. However for £2 it is very pigmented, has a great consistency and is pretty easy to apply.

Now i wasn't sure if this still counts because it is from Primark but i thought I'd throw it in here anyways. This is the PS. Beauty Volumizing Ultra Black Mascara from Primark. If you have read my PS beauty posts (here) you would know i pretty much love this mascara. Now i do have to say, it isn't the best mascara and honestly for £2 i don't expect it to be, however it is great at adding volume and i love using it over top of other mascaras so that i don't look like i have spider lashes. Another great option instead of the PS Mascara is the MUA Extreme Volume Mascara which is also £2.

Up next is another Primark product (sorry not sorry, they have some good stuff ok?). This is the PS. Beauty Brow Cream in Dark BrownNow when i first tried this stuff i was terrified, it was super dark when i swatched it and it is ultra thick, however after using it i love it. You need the smallest amount of this product because it is so pigmented and thick however, with some practise (and a lot of patience) it is easy to use. It comes with a small angled brush which is great and for £1.50 i think it's great. Again if you aren't into Primark makeup Makeup Revolution also does a Brow Tint for £1.50 check that out here.

£1.00 each

Last but not least is lips! Lipstick is one of my favourite parts about doing my makeup and i think that it can either make or break a look. Obviously everyone is different so i thought i would show you a more nude lip colour and a dark colour. As you can tell from the picture i have used this nude quite a lot. This is the Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick in The One. I love the lipsticks from Makeup Revolution because they have amazing formula's and coverage and for £1 they're incredible. Next is the Makeup Revolution Vamp Collection Lipstick in 100% Vamp.  This lipstick is the most beautiful deep purple shade and it is perfect for this time of year and for £1 can you really say no?

I hope you've enjoyed this post, I loved shopping and finding these products for you guys! Make sure to head over to Georgia's Blog to see her £20 Makeup Challenge post and let her know I sent you! Soph xoxo
